This is probably not the first page you have visited in your quest for help. It could be your second, tenth, or hundredth page you have seen as you try to decide who you should choose to help you. The strengths that I list on my front page may be just as comparable as other psychologists’ that you have seen. So why choose me when there are so many others? Time and transparency.

I do this because I genuinely love it as a part of my life. I have the time to drop off and pick up my little boy from daycare and spend time with him when he is home. I have the time to cook, clean, and complete any projects to support my amazing wife. I also have time to answer your questions or look up answers to questions I do not know. I have the time to research new tests if that would fit your needs better, or even purchase a new one if that would benefit your referral question.

What I do not give time for is ambiguity. I am fully transparent. My prices are listed on this website, broken down my my hourly rate of $170. My process is explained as well, and I am more than willing to explain it again if you would like. You will know exactly which tests I will give you or what type of theoretical orientation I will use if we are doing individual therapy. As I said before, I have the time to answer all of your questions and if I do not know the answer, I will find out.

If something is not transparent, call me out on it. I did not get here by taking the path of least resistance. I have worked with challenging kids from high school, mothers in domestic violence relationships who did not trust me as a male, sex offenders who did not want to change. I worked in a men’s prison as a psychologist and supervisor. I strive to make my clients and myself become the best versions of ourselves. I embrace feedback just as much as the testimonials that I have been honored to have received from past clients.
