Psychological testing is a series of selected tests that are based off of psychometric research within the field of cognitive neuroscience. I cover ADHD, Autism, Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Memory as well as various mood and personality disorders.

1. Once you complete the sent paperwork, we will meet through telehealth for one initial intake session (1 hour).We will schedule a day/time to meet in person to complete all the assigned tests that require in-person testing (2-2.5 hours).
2. If we are assessing multiple diagnoses, we can schedule and complete additional tests through telehealth.
3. It will take me approximately 2-4 business days to compile the data and write up a report for you
4. We will schedule one last online meeting (1 hour) so I can review the report with you and answer any of your questions. I will provide you a password-encrypted pdf copy of the report for your records.

I accept Aetna, Optum (UnitedHealthCare, UMR), Medicare, and Triwest.

It can vary. The whole testing process normally takes about one week to complete.
The fastest I have completed testing for an individual who needed it immediately and was readily available was within 24 hours.

If you are the client, just make sure to rest and try not to take any excessive amounts of stimulants, such as coffee, or medications that may impact your testing score unless you are on a strict schedule. I would recommend bringing water and snacks as it can be a 2-3 hour process.
If you are bringing a child, then definitely bring snacks :)

That report will be yours. You may provide it to any other health professionals you work with and keep it for your own records.

All I ask is that you put in your best effort. These are not normal tests and many past clients who have reported test anxiety have actually done quite well. I will also do my best to make you feel comfortable and provide any support if needed.

Individual therapy is an opportunity for you or a loved one to work closely with me in treating an identified problem or diagnosis. It is a safe space to practice skills, process emotions, and work towards accomplishing treatment goals.

I conceptualize, provide coping skills, and create treatment plans primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy approach.

In sessions, I use a strength-based and interpersonal approach in helping clients achieve their goals.

Anything. In my opinion, what matters more is being able to share something naturally and organically rather than forced. If I can do my job right to make you feel safe and comfortable, I believe that the things that need to be said, will be said.

I am very flexible on frequency. I have some clients that I meet as little as once a month and others that I have seen as much as twice a week. We can decide on what frequency would be best be suited for you based on your treatment plan, finances, time, and other factors.

Everything said in session remains confidential. The exceptions to this are if you state that you have thoughts, plans, and intentions to hurt yourself, hurt someone else, report abuse and neglect, or if I am mandated by the court of law to disclose information.
