Personality Disorders
Personality disorders are long-term patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that can make relationships, self-image, and daily functioning difficult. Common signs include unstable relationships, strong emotional reactions, impulsivity, suspiciousness, social withdrawal, attention-seeking behavior, and little remorse or empathy depending on the type.
Common symptom themes
Cluster A: suspiciousness, odd beliefs, social detachment, unusual behavior.
Cluster B: emotional intensity, impulsivity, unstable relationships, dramatic or reckless behavior, fear of abandonment, attention-seeking, or lack of remorse.
Cluster C: avoidance, fear of criticism, dependence, perfectionism, or extreme need for control
I provide personality testing, both in person and telehealth, for children and adults within the Fresno/Clovis area as well as for anyone in the state of California who is able to travel to my primary area. I provide same-week appointments and complete these evaluations within a few days if requested.
